This is a series of posts from my road trip in 2011 where I traveled around the US and Canada giving talks, attending conferences, visiting IGDA chapters, networking, hanging out with friends, and dog sitting an adorable pug named Thomas!
First of all, I’d like to extend my thanks to the amazing people at the IGDA’s Salt Lake City (SLC) chapter1. Josh Jones and the coordinators were gracious hosts and I was honored to be asked to speak. I had a wonderful time getting to know more about the dev culture in the area, but more importantly, it was incredible getting to know the SLC IGDA members in-person.
This was the first stop on my two-month road trip across the country, so I thought it would be the ideal place to formally announce my intention to run for the IGDA Board of Directors in 2012.
So, in that vein – it’s official. I’m asking you to vote for me in 2012. I invite you to ask me questions about my background, expertise, and vision for the IGDA’s future – just visit my contact page and submit your inquiries there.
Keep an eye on this ever-evolving website for more information on my platform. Thanks for visiting!
